Our home like most everyone else is our haven, the place our family goes to fall...relax...enjoy. We purchased our home December of 09' and thought it was purdy great, there were things if given the chance and money we would change but overall IN LOVE.
After a whoping 3 months in our home we woke to what we now call "The Great Poop Flood of 2010". And yes just as it sounds, the sewer backup up into our perfect house and flooded the entire downstairs with 5'' of sewage. YUCK! DOUBLE YUCK! We lost just about everything, and all of a sudden the idea of making this house ours was here.
The last few months it has been insurance, contractors, decisions, more insurance more decisions and yet more contractors. We are heading into the final lap of a very quick very amazing reno and when we are done the house we loved we will love even more because it is our all ours, everything has our own personal touches in it all the way down to the insullation I installed in the walls. We are very excited to soon show all our hard work to the world!
